Week beginning 1st June 2026

 

The winner will be chosen based on the level of their activity - sharing, liking and commenting on our posts (during the week 23/05/26 and 30/05/26) and the merit of their application. The winner will be invited to attend a free 7 night residency at Cortijo el Moro during the period 09/06/26 - 31/10/26.

 

*residencies may be increased in length, depending on availability, at the winners personal expense.

 

 

The small print:

The prize is for a free *7 night stay for a practising artist, writer or researcher based on single, self-catering accommodation.

Participants must be over the age of 18.

Travel costs to Cortijo el Moro must be met by the winning participant (Please read our residents handbook for travel advice https://www.cortijoelmoro.com/gallery/Handbook.pdf).

Selected winners will be expected to visually document their stay at Cortijo el Moro, including their work, and share on their professional social media channels, always tagging @cortijoelmoro, and website during their stay.

Participants will need to agree to our standard residency terms and conditions, which are available upon request and will be given to all new applicants at the time of applying. This must be signed by the winner before their stay at Cortijo el Moro.
